About Pamela

Pamela is a dedicated, qualified Naturopath, Clinical Nutritionist and Herbalist whose studies were motivated by serious family health issues of both hereditary and environmental origin. Her inspiration was a Naturopath who had helped her to recover her heath following a long chronic illness.

Whilst working in corporate roles and raising children in both Australia and abroad, Pamela had waded through scientific research and other available information, trying  to work out why her family had such a concentration of cancers, cardiovascular diseases, thyroid disease, respiratory diseases, auto-immune illnesses  and allergies. Rather than relying on orthodox medicine to mop up the mess created by these conditions, she wanted to know what could be done to prevent them, minimise their effects and provide the best tools for recovery. She realised that to do this more effectively, proper training was needed so she resumed full time study and commenced her formal natural medicine and health education.

Her professional background prior to Naturopathy, Nutrition and Herbal medicine was in publishing, production, teaching and training. She spent 8 years living overseas in developing countries with a young family, and while there worked in voluntary roles in both education, and in community service areas. Those experiences, plus the challenges of combining work, study and parenting have shaped her compassion and understanding of the life stresses and difficulties often faced by her clients in their efforts to regain and retain good heath, amid the demands of normal life.

Pamela likes to help clients balance all areas of their lives and her areas of interest include chronic illness, allergies and food intolerances, digestive problems, stress and anxiety management, sleep issues, and regaining work/life balance via lifestyle changes.

Pamela is a member of ATMS and NHAA and registered with most major health funds.

In 2016, Pamela received the ATMS / Nature and Health Magazine Student of the Year award.
